Lost gamerscore, almost 5000 suddenly gone?

Hello! Last night (26/7) I suddenly realized that my gamerscore had dropped from ~38000 down to 33772. The gamertag in question is associated with the account I am using to type this. I've tried chatting with support to find out what might have happened
but they could not find any issues, and directed me here.

One possible reason for losing gamerscore that whas suggested to me by the support was joining a modded lobby in some game and thus having the score removed as an anti-cheat action. I am not aware of doing anything like this though.

In conclusion I would like help from a moderator to review the history of my account to try to figure out the issue, and hopefully remedy it. I am a very avid xbox-gamer so this is a pretty big issue for me.

Gamerscore Points

Wondering if anyone can help me. I've lost over 5000 Gamerscore points in the last 24 hours. How can this happen?

Gamerscore Lost

Hi I switch on my xbox today and it said that I've played the game (Gears of war 3) on another console (which I haven't and never) and sign me in again, then I lost all my 5000 something gamerscore.

Please kindly help.

 

Gamerscore and achievement corrections occur on a player’s Xbox Live account when they gain achievements or other awards through the manipulation of an Xbox profile using external or unauthorized tools and/or hardware. When a Gamerscore correction occurs
the player’s Gamerscore is reset and previously-earned achievements remain unobtainable.

No one here can review the history of your account. Only phone support would be able to do that. No moderator here has that ability or access to your account.

Are you in the Preview program? or were you and opted out recently? If so this could be a license issue with games purchased from the store while in Preview. If the system thinks you aren't entitled to the games any game score would be removed.

To check, are you noticing the score missing from any particular games? Also, to check, is your Xbox One currently taking part in the Preview Update?

 

The op hasn't had a Gamerscore reset as they're 360 achievements are still there
