Lost Gamerscore After Gamertag Change

Discus and support Lost Gamerscore After Gamertag Change in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I recently changed my gamertag and in turn lost around 6600 gamerscore, is there any way I could get it back ?     Lost Gamerscore After Gamertag Change


    I recently changed my gamertag and in turn lost around 6600 gamerscore, is there any way I could get it back ? Any help is much appreciated.

    Keeping Gamertag, but start fresh with achievements?

    Can't you just change your gamertag on your account, create a new one, and use the name you just changed from.

    EG.

    Your Gamertag = Boo - Gamerscore 5000

    Change Gamertag from Boo to Pie - Gamerscore 5000

    Gamertage Boo is now available.

    Create new account, take name Boo Gamerscore 0 then add everyone again

    Hi there,

    If you're not showing a gamerscore reset on your account
    https://enforcement.xbox.com     then you've probably just been hit with a glitch that has been randomly effecting users. And it just happened to take place when you changed your gamertag.

    With the glitch, the score will return in a few days.

    But it WAS included in my gamerscore on the 360. Ever since Xbox One release day. It just suddenly wasn't after I changed my gamertag today.

    I'm afraid that there is no way to reset a legitimate gamerscore at all. Gamerscore resets are only given to people who illegitimately modify their gamerscore. When they get their gamerscore reset, however, there are a number
    of other consequences:

    1) All of the gamerscore will be reset to zero.

    2) A person with a gamerscore reset will be permanently branded "Cheater" on your gamertag.

    3) All lost gamerscore and achievement are gone forever, and irretrievable.
