You can reach out to Xbox support via phone or chat and explain the issue to them. They may be able to help you recover your lost Gamerscore.

I just had the same problem, it is easy to fix just delete your profile and redownload it again, should be back.

BTW make sure u delete profile only otherwise your achievements will be gone anyway -.- but a popup will warn you so cant miss it.

Storage->profiles->*insert name here*->delete

Redownload.

The issue is now fixing itself once you unlock another achievement.

I can confirm this as I have just returned back up to 255,000 GS from 99,150.
