Lost gamer score and tag

Hi,

I recently got an Xbox One and was hoping to bring over my GT and score but my tag seems to have been changed to something completely different and my score has been reset to zero (I recovered it through my old email address.)

I've tried to contact Microsoft through their online chat but I can't enter my name into the submission form for some strange reason (the box is greyed out) so I can't submit the form to ask to chat to one of their support team. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Same Gamertag and Points For Xbox Live when New Xbox Is Released?

That is something else I forgot to think about. Whether or not your gamer tag and achievements/score would follow you to the new console. That seems pretty important to me. I often times find myself adding people who have higher gamer scores to my friends list in pub games that I play since it seems like they will be more active.

I'm going to have to think of a new tag in case it doesn't follow.

 

Do Xbox 360 achievements transfer to Xbox One?

your over all gamer score will transfer as that's tied to your gamer tag not the console. the individual achievements will have to be earned again on the xbox one as others have already said.

 

Sounds like you've had a forced name change & Gamerscore reset for modded achievements.
