Lost Friend [Help Needed]

I need major help with this.

I used to play on my Xbox with an online friend of mine, Shawn. We used to play all of the time until about a year ago where he suddenly disappeared. I kept checking every day because we were great friends and we always hung out playing different games. Well about a month went by, and still no answer. 6 months went by, no answer. And soon enough, "Last played 1 year ago". He's not the type of dude just to bail on his friends and he always messaged me wanting to play some games. I need help contacting him or at least finding out if he is okay. His Xbox gamertag is SensoryFlame273 and his name is Shawn Rivers.

If anyone can find any of his socials, please privately message me on Xbox. I tried all sorts of things. Thanks.

Hi,

Factory resetting a console erases all data on the console including games,accounts etc.

However they aren’t lost forever and you can get it all back by signing back into your Xbox account after resetting the console.

To regain access to your games they must be downloaded again this can be done by pressing the Xbox button on your controller, going to My games and apps, see all and scrolling down to full library.

In that section you will find an option on the right saying “All owned games” clicking on this will show every game you have purchased on your account and allow you to download them again.

Thank you for the response! At his point he is starting to believe someone hacked into his account. He receives emails on another email about purchase he makes on the account. However, that additional email does not appear when trying to recover the account.

Another oddity is when viewing his Xbox Network profile all captures/clips he has created have entirely disappeared from his account. He uploads a lot of clips and for them to all go away in one fail swoop is very suspicious

Hello, if your friend thinks their account has been compromised, and they lost the access long time ago. I'm afraid to say the possibilities of recovering the account are low.
