Lost free game code

Can anyone help please? I got my boy a xbox one for his birthday and it came with the free game voutcher for sea of thieves. Some how he lost the came code card. Is there any way you could find out the code some how with the numbers on the xbox or any other
information please. Iv tried messaging xbox on twitter but had no reply if no one can help does anyone know the best way to contact microsoft xbox

Microsoft Robs Xbox Ambassador Program Members today Nov 19th 2015

Microsoft today robbed 2.6 million gamers today when they changed there xbox ambassador site today gamers that where at level 7 and about to hit level 8 lost there free game today promised by microsoft all loot items that where a part of the program have been removed and people are angry because there ranks where reset to 0 and there sweepstakes tickets where removed and they where also reset to 0.

Xcl participants are currently asking microsoft to remove them out of the program there excuse has been microsoft let only a few select people know this change was coming and once they found out after the change has happened they lost there codes for there free gear or worse one member was reported to have lost her free xbox live gold code as well gamers that where close to receiving there free game also where robbed as well.

Microsofts excuse was you had to use your sweepstakes tickets before the end of oct but there was no sweepstakes to enter on the site it only said TBD that was it

this sucks

Besides buying the game new (or used with the code still present), there is no way to get a replacement code (at least not to my knowledge).

Otherwise people would simply buy a game, sell the code, and then tell support that "their dog ate the code" or whatever to get a new code for free (which they could sell to someone else), and repeat the "I lost/ate/burned my code by accident, and need a
new one. And this time I'll be more careful, I swear to me mum!" procedure to make a profit from their "free replacement" codes.

So I'm afraid, if you lost the code, then you lost access to the game.

the codes still cost them money from the developer. essentially they'd be giving out a free game. theres no way they can take a digital version away from you. and if they did it would just be lost forever as they cant resell something that's not tangible.
