    SO let me just get this right...you had an account that was yours? You passed it to a hacker who later changed the password which locked you out?? Now you need to figure out the email address that you used with that account???

    you cant move a tag from one microsoft account to another, as she owns the microsoft account she also owns the tag im afraid and microsoft will not change here account in any way with out her calling.

    A Microsoft account is email, xbox, windows accounts in one package and cannot be changed.

    You may need your friend to try running through different possible email addresses to see he can find the right one. If he's still having trouble, he'll need to fill out this
    ACSR form as best as he can.

    May I know what do you mean by “transferred to a new email address”?
    Did you mean creating a new account by using the old email address?
