Lost email due to hack

OK, so this is situation from around 6 years ago. I got my account hacked and had the emails/passwords changed, i have the gamertag and all the other information on the account, except for what the new email the hacker used is. Is there any way for me to
access the account and see the email without being able to login to Live? Please dont comment with silly things like "why didn't you write it down", it was 6+ years ago, anything i wrote down is long gone by now.

Rockstar (the creators of GTA V) have recently done a patch where everyone lost there money due to hacks and money lobbies

Well heck, if you want to talk hacking, I lost my XBL account for THIRTY DAYS in November 2011 because of the FIFA hack that Microsoft conveniently decided wasn't their problem (in truth, it was probably EA's fault, but EA disclaimed blame as well). And
I wasn't alone. MS wouldn't release the figures but based on what I saw just here on the forums, there were thousands if not tens of thousands of users who were hit by that hack. Some of them PERMANENTLY lost their accounts because the gamertags were transferred
to other countries where their laws didn't permit MS to take the gamertags back (or so MS said). Oh, and credit cards? Let's talk credit cards. People lost THOUSANDS of dollars due to the FIFA hack. I didn't lose any because I caught them in the act of
taking over my account. I just lost some ms points I already had. But when I requested that MS remove my credit card from my XBL account THEY REFUSED because my account was being "investigated" due to the hack. So very sorry, but MS doesn't have as squeaky
clean a record as you seem to think it has.

Thanks for the help. Though last night i managed to get hold of the backup email on the account, was a very old one of mine , lucky i remembered it.

So, purchases and data from an account that will be terminated by my university will be lost?

Technically, you could add a secondary email to your MS account for sign in purposes...however, no clue what would happen if the primary email was no longer valid

Unfortunately, MS don't allow you to change the primary email due to the risk of fraud, hacking and whatnot...if they allowed it, then a hacked account could then have it's address changed

it looks like the original email attached to the account was deleted due in inactivity, is there any way to attach an email to that gamertag or is it just lost now due to not having an email attached, it would just be a shame to lose the account.
