Device details alone..there would be no way for the Microsoft system to know whether the device is in the hands of the right person....for example, the device could have been stolen so the thief would have access to the details (not saying you stole it of course, just giving an example)...it would be like going into a car dealership and saying "Hi, I need a replacement key for my car....I can't prove it's my car but here's a photo of it"

I'm sorry but we need to know at least the Microsoft email address that way we can proceed in recovering the account. Even if we know the Gamertag we can't proceed without the email.
