Lost download game

My son bought and downloaded Fifa 18 Icon edition. He was playing it on Friday night and when he went to play it on Saturday morning, it had disappeared. He swears he hasn't deleted it. We have checked everywhere on his account. How can we get it back? Thank

On an xbox one console as long as you are signed into the console with a profile any digital game that was purchased that is not installed on the console already will show up in the ready to install section of my games and apps on the console.

with that being said if it is installed and is not showing up in the games section you may have the filters set wrong in the games section you can have it filter the games by xbox one only, xbox 360 only, or both so you may want to check the filters too.

Have you checked http://commerce.microsoft.com to see if it shows transaction?

if i downloaded a game and lost my hard drive would i be able to download the game again for free?

even if you delete the game and download it again, your game data will not be lost

They wouldn't be losing anything as people downloading the game while it's free wouldn't of downloaded it had it not been.

Free downloads does not equate to lost sales....
