    lost disc for racing wheel with force feedback


    Hello,

    I have a Microsoft racing wheel with force feedback for my Xbox 360. I seem to have displaced the disc with install software which is apparently needed for pairing the wheel with the console. Is there another way to install this software of to get a spare
    install disc?

    Help is much appreciated.

    Are you talking about the big steering wheel with the pedals and table-mounting attachment that came at around late 2006?

    From personal experience, I bought one of those at a yard sale a couple months ago. I was able to sync it to my Xbox 360 console like any other regular controller (sync button), but the system didn't prompt me for any additional software to install. It was
    basically plug-and-play for me.

    Is your Xbox 360 fully updated with the latest system software?

    When I got the 360 racing wheel new quite a while after release I don't remember it coming with an install disc so I think support was added via a dashboard update to consoles.

    Wheel force feedback must be programmed into the game, and specific support for the wheel you're using. Please chaeck the website for the game you're trying to play to see what features and devices are supported

    You must also purchase the specific model that says it supports Xbox, you cannot buy a PC wheel
