Lost data in forza horizon

Hi there,

I'm guessing this it the first time you're playing Forza Horizon 4 on PC,

If you've lost your game data for Forza Horizon 4 on PC, having closed the game before allowing it to sync up, ( which it can take some time to do so ),

To make sure you've not completely lost your save data, I would load Forza Horizon 4 on you're Xbox console and see if your save data is ok on the Xbox, if it is ok,

I would then uninstall Forza Horizon 4 from you're PC, then reinstall it and allow it to fully sync up, which may take so time to do so , to see if it works / fixes the issue.

I'm not sure about the Windows 10 update, as I've not had to do any update's to Windows for Forza over the years of going back and fourth playing Forza Horizon 4 between Xbox and PC and having to sync every time i do so.

Ah slight problem, I don’t have a disc for it it’s digital

For the saved data I have one that says my name and one that says reserved space

Johnathan, let's check if the save is in the cloud, or if it was deleted.

To manage the saves, go to the console's main menu and access “Settings”;

On this screen, go to “System” and press A to access the menu

Go to the “Storage” column and click on “Manage Storage” to access your disks;

After choosing the main HD, select the saves of which game you want to see and press Start on it;

Click on “Manage Game” to check all the content;

On the right side of the screen will be the save files, named “Saved data”. Press A on them to open the management options screen. Delete only the local save, leaving the cloud save.

Then run these tests

Open the panel by pressing the Xbox button in the center of the controller.

Scroll right on the panel to the System area.

Select Settings.

Select Network.

Select Network Settings.

Select NAT Test Type.

Tell me what appears on this test, please

Press and hold the power button on your Xbox for 10 seconds, wait for it to turn off. Unplug it. Now wait 1 minute before turning it on.

Configuration>Network>Advanced Settings>DNS Settings>Manual>Primary 1.1.1.1 and Secondary 1.0.0.1
