Lost color depth after update (Nov9)

I used to have the option to choose different color depths as follows:

24-bit, 30-bit, and 36. This was similar to Xbox 360 of standard, intermediate, and extended. I noticed with my plasma tv, it made a difference with controller speeds. For whatever reason, after the update.. I only have the 24-bit option available.

Why the recent change to this update?

Update Disaster

After the new update was applied today I lost control for the right stick of the controller, colors are darker, no color in sun or moon--moon it just an outline.

Align color and Depth/IR images in Kinect

Hi

I am trying to using Kinect as a data acquisition.. Color, Depth and IR images.

Since color image have size (1920*1080 ) while depth/IR have size (512 * 424 )with different view of field

color image have a view angle (84.1 * 53.8) while Depth/IR have a view angle (70.6 * 60)

I would like to align the color image with the corresponding depth/IR images to have same size and same field of view

could you please direct me how to do this alignment ?

There was no change in the options of the color depth with this update. All three options are still available.

The difference may be that if you are on auto negotiating the TV connection your plasma may not give the option for all the color depths to the One, so the menu only gives you the choices, your TV is capable of.

If you set the TV connection to "hdmi" and disable the auto negotiation you should be able to use all of the the given depth options.

That did allow me to select the three options. I noticed that when I attempt to select the other options, the screen blacks out and it reverts back to 24-bit whereas before it would allow me to select any of the options.

Hm, that's strange indeed. It's it still working with the 360? War there maybe a firmware update with your TV?

I no longer have a 360 but that option was always there.. it was here with the xbox one as well but this latest update broke it for whatever reason. My tv is at least 7 years old so not sure about a recent firmware update, but it just seems strange that
all of a sudden this new update would effect this tv this way.

Do you have YCC 4:2:2 enabled in the Xbox display settings?

Also, have you changed the color depth on your Xbox from 24 bit to 32 bit?

Dolby Vision is 12 bit color so you will probably need those two options enabled. The first is to output more bandwidth and the color depth is for 12 bit color.

Also, make sure your Blu Ray app is updated.
