Lost all xbox account data

The email I used was definitely GMail, it's the first email I ever created and it's the one I used for the Xbox account, as for the account recovery, I have no Xbox Live Device ID since I got rid of my Xbox a while ago, I've been on PC for a long time and decided to sell the Xbox since it was no longer in use.

I'll try the online chat tomorrow since they're off work right now, do you know if they'll be able to get my account back? I've never had any luck with online chat support so I don't want to waste time if they don't have the resources or whatever they need to view my account history or get all the data back.

That sucks, not sure why I thought it would be a simple process.

The account getting compromised is highly unlikely, I check my emails often and there's never been anything about it. I'm also using the same password for a lot of stuff and I've never had any issues.

Something else to note, I've come across a few more threads of people who've experienced the same issue as me so that makes me feel a tiny bit better. I've had the account since 2012 or 2013 so it really sucks to see it go like this.

I'll try to keep this active to see if someone with at least some privileges can take a look at my account or even speak to someone who can help. I'm not sure if Xbox keeps backups of accounts but if they do then it would be amazing if they could restore the data, it was only 1-2 years ago so if they do have backups, surely they have something. I think I had about 93 friends and 23k gamerscore. That's what I'm picturing so it may be on point, maybe not.

The last thing I did on that account changed the name and turn my PC off, maybe something went wrong with their servers during the name change? Not sure.

Anyways, hopefully this thread can stay alive so it can get recognised more.

To be honest, they're going to refer you to the recovery form :c

If you maybe think that your account has been compromised (Due to you said that you are more than sure that's your email/account) you can try asking in that way

But if you never received a security notification about that and as a lot of time passed, could be hard get proper assistance

Probably your account is registered to a different email address o domain (@outlook.com, @gmail.com), in this case you may need to proceed with the account recovery form:

In cases like this no one Microsoft agent can assist you with this process / tell your the specific email / modify or share account details due to privacy and security policies
