    Lost all progress!!! - Forza Horizon 4 - HELP!!!


    I bought the ultimate edition of Forza Horizon 4 (~90$) and got to play it before the original release date.

    Due to being unable to connect to the servers from a week ago I tried logging in to my other Microsoft account and start the game from there, just to see if there was any problems with my settings.

    As I quickly figured out I didn't work so I switched back to my original account and booted up the game again, HOWEVER, the game started me from the beginning AGAIN with ALL MY PROGRESS BEING DELETED!

    Is there any way to access cloud saves or such to recover my old saves? I had reached pretty high levels and credits so it was a big loss! Any advice you guys have is received with thanks.

    My profile in forza horizon 4 doesnt get sincronized with the cloud and I lose all my progress when I close the game. PLEASE need help.

    Try deleting the games local save data for your profile and letting the cloud data resync after you launch the game again.

    Make sure that you choose the option to "delete from console" and DO NOT select "delete everywhere".

    I will try your advice when I figure out where to delete the games save data for my profile.

    I also forgot to mention that I'm on Windows 10.

    Hello there!!

    Your data is stored to both, your hard drive and the Xbox
    Cloud
    as long as the console is online. Xbox Live keeps your important data in sync so you don't lose anything when you use a friend or family member's console, or even when you switch to a new console.

    Note

    You must have a regular connection to Xbox Live to keep your data in sync. Playing
    offline may cause your cloud data to become out of sync, this one will updates when you connect to Xbox Live.

    Oh, you're on Windows 10 . I don't personally know off the top of my head where you would find your profiles saved data for games on Windows 10, but I will see if I can find you that info. Maybe in the meantime another player or support agent will be able
    to assist you further.

    I'm also searching on the Forza forums and read this:

    "Note: Never cancel your syncing data as this will delete it from the server and there is no way to retrieve it. We will NOT be able to return any type of Level, Experience or Career Progress."

    I can also inform you that all my achievements and "Xbox game points" for this game are gone.

    Try resetting the game from your system settings. perhaps this will cause the game to resync the data stored properly for you. I'll provide you with the steps to access the option.

    1. From your desktop, right click on start and select settings.
    2. Select Apps within the settings and click on "Apps & features".
    3. Find Forza Horizon 4 and select it.
    4. Click on "Advanced options".
    5. Find the Reset option and select reset.
    6. Launch the game about a minute after and see if your game data resyncs properly from the cloud.

    Nope, this didn't do it either Lost all progress!!! - Forza Horizon 4 - HELP!!! :(

    Seems like it overwrited my save data when I switched account.

    I however found the games save location on my hard drive if that helps:

    C:\Users\Username\AppData(it's hidden)\Local\Packages

    Thanks for the help so far but I think I'm doomed.

    to the Forza support agents on their website. Hopefully they'll be able to deliver you some good news.
