Lost all profiles - can't download; Error code 80070570

I somehow lost all the profiles on my Xbox 360 during the latest update, which I downloaded yesterday. I have not sen this problem before. When I attempt to download new profiles, the system is telling me:

"Sorry, Xbox Live profiles can't be downloaded right now. Try again later."

One of the suggestions was to remove the local profile and download it again. When I attempted to do this, no profiles show up to delete, and I continue to get the error on every download attempt. I browsed the forums, and I don't see anything in there
about this being a widespread problem, which makes me believe there is something locally wrong on my Xbox, but I do not know how to resolve it or troubleshoot it.

If anyone can provide any information, I would be grateful.

Downloading Profiles

We've been trying to download our Profiles for the past few days, but we keep getting the Error Code: 80070570... "you can't update profiles right now, try again later". Any advice?

Literally everything that I try to do, including stop all downloads, and download free content, requires me to get into my profile, which I CANNOT DO.

 

I ran a network test to save time, since it is probably going to be a question that is asked. I had no direct errors on the report. after clicking Y, this is what I received:

Clearing cache is apparently not an option either. When I go into Settings > System Settings > Storage > Memory Unit (local hard drive) > every option in the list is empty when I try to go into it. I have no idea what to do at this point. I would prefer
not to lose all my saved games and downloaded content if there was a way around it. At this point, I can play no games, as every game requires me to be logged into a profile.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - I am very frustrated.

This will clear the updates on console

 

Clearing the updates did not work either. I ended up having to reformat the hard drive. I lost all saved games that I had accumulated over several years. Needless to say, I am not happy...
