Lost all of my Saved Game Progression? On XBOX 360. Storage some how was erased?

Hello,

I recently went to go play some games on my xbox 360, I have not played it in a few months and now all of my saved games are gone? I know that they were saved last time I played on the xbox. One weird thing is that all of my achievements are still there.

Is it a storage problem? I tried re downloading my account but nothing changed. Is there a way to get my saved game progression back? I have a new Xbox 360 slime with a 500 GB Hard Drive, bought it this year. The reason why it is new is because my 6 year
old xbox 360 broke beginning of the year, the tray would no longer open or close properly. Also I believe that 250 GB hard drive became corrupt because it says its unformatted. Although when I re downloaded my account onto the new xbox 360 I know for a fact
it did still have it's saved games I played. But just a few months of not playing it, and going back for some reason all of my saved games progression is gone.

Is there a way to fix this? Please if there is I'd like to play all of my games once more~!

Lost ALL of my data..

A storage device (such as a memory unit or hard drive) was not found during the software update. Follow these steps:

Turn off your console.

Remove all console storage devices, including any USB flash drives, external hard drives or the internal hard drive on the Xbox 360 S console. Learn how to remove
the hard drive.

Add your primary storage device, for example, the hard drive.

Turn on the console

Try updating the console again.

lost saved game

when I play fallout my saved game is not there. I went to storage but I cant see the saved game files like I used to on my 360. any Ideas on how to find it. The game still works as it let me start a new game but I really want to get my level 82 back. Lot
of hours invested in it

Sorry to hear it. When you got the new console and hard drive did you get an official Xbox transfer cable and transfer all the content from the original hard drive to the new one? If you did not then that would be the reason why you no longer have access
to your game saves.

If the 250GB hard drive became corrupt before you were able to transfer the content then I'm afraid that there is no way to access them again.

Hey zelopesxbox,

Have you tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling back on? Sometimes that can resolve some of the behavior you're describing. If the issue persists after uninstalling and reinstalling, the next step I recommend is clearing your Xbox 360 Local Storage.
Note that this will not erase your game saves as they are stored in the cloud.

Navigate to 'All settings' from the Xbox One guide.
Within the settings screen, scroll down to 'System' and select 'Storage'.
Within the storage settings screen, select 'Clear local Xbox 360 storage' and proceed to restart your console.

It's difficult to know the cause of the problem if it could be a problem with the console's storage or the update was misapplied.

If you were playing connected to the internet the progress of the games is uploaded to the Cloud automatically. Unfortunately, the progress that was saved on the console was lost.

Specifically addressing your personal game progress and saves,
cloud storage is a great option for securely storing and/or moving your personal game saves. Some games, (Gears of War 3, for example) require you to move the game progress data from the hard drive to cloud storage, and others will allow you to copy the
file, leaving a copy of the game save on the original console and making a duplicate in the cloud storage, which can be loaded onto your new console.

As for moving the specific DLC and licenses, the actual DLC and installed games cannot be copied to cloud storage. The other gamers above have linked good instructions for how to transfer that.
