Lost all minecraft worlds recently

Have you tried loading up the minecraft worlds that you don't recognize to see if they're perhaps your worlds just with different names?

If the worlds are definitely not yours, then it looks like your Minecraft data was lost.

As Mister Fizzle said, there have been issues in the past where Minecraft Title updates have caused Minecraft worlds to be lost. It's possible that this has happened (since a Minecraft update came out recently).

However, the loss of your Skyrim save seems to indicate that the process to move the data from your USB drive to your hard drive did not complete properly or errored during and caused the data to be lost.

I'm sorry that I don't have better news for you.

My world synced Every time I saved it, what is the point in playing the game if all progress can just be lost!!! It's a complete waste of time, they can't tell me how the world got corrupted which means it's absolutely pointless playing Minecraft as at any
point the world can disappear

Once deleted a world cannot be recovered. For more you can contact Mojang support

If you can log into Microsoft account | Home just fine and you aren't having any issues with your Microsoft account, you might want to get in touch with the developer of the game for further assistance. You can submit a request through Submit a request – Home (minecraft.net).

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about recovering a world you were playing on in Minecraft.

All of your save data is automatically
synced up to the cloud whenever you play while connected to Xbox Live. There are instances when you can choose to sync either save data from the cloud or from your console to overwrite this data.

However, if you manually deleted the world, then as Xbox Forums Ambassador M3tal Daz3 stated, there is no way to
recover that.

If you played on a different account or console, then that would explain why your world is not currently there. Is there anyway you can confirm what console or even what account you were using when you last launched your world?
