Lost account!!!!

So about 8 months ago my cat of 13 years and my mother both died within two days of each other, I was playing Fallout 4 like I usually do and have been for the past 4 years and I use mods which makes it crash all the time was having a horrible day and
got really angry about everything and smashed my Xbox with a hammer like an idiot. After a couple months I figured I needed to try to fix things looked at my hard drive and it looked fine in the casing around it hadn't been damaged by the hammer. I also had
an account that I used at work on my work computer to play fallout shelter under my work email that was different than my home email that I was using each with their own gamertags. At first I went and bought a stripped used Xbox from GameStop and thought that
I would switch the hard drives watched a video on how to do so correctly but an error code came up that said to push a button on the side and the eject button but I was afraid that this would erase any of the data that was left on it. I then read in a forum
that all or most of my information should have been saved digitally on my account. So I went and logged in after I put the original hard drive of the used Xbox back into it. When I signed in the profile was that of my work account even though I used my home
email! None of the games were there that I had had from my home Xbox. When I logged into my work account it was completely empty and even asked me to create a gamertag!? I called Xbox support and I eventually gave them four different emails that I've used
over the past 11 years even all the way back to an old 360 that I had used and they couldn't find anything. I bought thousands of dollars worth of games for my Xbox One but unfortunately only used gift cards never a credit card. My Bethesda account information
still works it still has the same login and password but I don't see how that can help me with anything. I even look to see if my old Xbox One serial number was attached to either of my accounts but it wasn't. the only reason I'm really doing this is because
I have an 11 year old nephew who likes playing Xbox otherwise I think I would have given up by now because it's just been so difficult. I went to GameStop in a couple computer stores that I figured would be filled with hacker guys but they were only filled
with young kids who didn't seem to know anything. I've also heard that you can connect a hard drive to your computer and reformat it and put it on a USB chip and then put that into an Xbox and download all the games and information on it, but one don't know
how to do that and to I'm not sure if it would even work at this point. and of course there's also the original error code solution of pushing the side button and the eject button but still I'm afraid that it might erase everything. can anybody please help
