Lost account

Hello.

I wanted to log into my Microsoft account on my PC which I assumed would be the same profile as my Xbox 360 account. When I tried to log in on my PC, it said to give my email and password, but since I forgot my password as I wasn't on my Xbox for a very long
time, I reset my password. Strangely, my email exists, but not under my Xbox gamertag. When I reset my password and logged in, my name was (and is as of this moment) "BiasedBeatle81", which was never my gamertag and I've never seen this anywhere before. I
know this is a randomly generated name, but that means my account should've existed before, but why would I need another account if I already have one. My actual gamertag is "PatSki Trials", as has been always. I tried to log in using different emails, but
every single one was said to not exist, even the one I just logged on with (the one which said my name was BiasedBeatle81), which makes no sense. When I turned my Xbox on, my PatSki Trials account was still there. (I'm unable to do anything on my Xbox 360
as none of my controllers work.)

What happened to my account? What can't I log into my actual account?

Xbox has made me lose my game progress

So recently Xbox store would not load and it kept telling me that I should restart the system. So I did and now all my progress has been completely lost for everything not with a backed up account. So I have lost quite a bit of Fallout 4 progress. Please can someone help?

Lost Account

Okay so, about 2 years ago, I sold my old Xbox 360 for some cash. Well, the Microsoft account that I had on it was had tons of games, achievements, gamerscore, etc. So about 1-2 years passed and I decided to get an Xbox One. Sadly, for the life of me, I
could not remember either the microsoft account or password for my old profile and so I ended up just making a new profile with my newest email address/microsoft account. Well now, I've been really longing for my old account because of everything I had on
it.

The problems are:

1. I don't remember the old profile's associated Microsoft account/password.

2. I do not remember the email associated with the old profile.

3. I can't even recover the email through means of phone verification because I have changed numbers twice now since then and my old numbers no longer work.

I don't know if there is any way to retrieve my old profile/account through means of perhaps security questions or whatnot. I know there has to be some sort of verification to prevent people trying to get into other's accounts and I'm afraid I'm out of luck.
It's really bummed me out. Any help is immensely appreciated.

If you start up your 360 before you login to your account it usualy shows which email adress is associated with that account maybe that will help and your GT still exist on xbox searched for the GT

That's it, other than other accounts on the right of mine that aren't important. I can see all this right after pressing the start button on the Xbox.

Sorry to hear about the issue signing in. Looks like the email used was a different one used than on the 360 account. To view the email on the 360 account, log onto the console:

From home>settings>profile>account security there as long as it an Xbox live account you will see the email associated to the account. Then you can go to the
Account website and if don't remember password you will be able to

change the password on the website with correct email.

I'm certain I know what my email was, and I've logged into that account on my PC before, that's why I don't understand what happened; I remember looking at my games and friends on my PC once before, but I can't do that now, nor can I find a way to do so.
Just in case, I tried different emails and all of them were said to not exist under Mircosoft's accounts.

Usually the only way a different gamer tag gets assigned is its wrong email, or was a forced gamer tag change. Which in this case I don't think the latter happened. You could request a call back and a support agent can look up the original Gamer tag and
help you further.

When you go to
Contact Us to get it to request a callback follow these steps:

• Step 1 ----select Xbox One
• Step 2 ----select no thanks
• Step 3-----select games
• Step 4 ----select request a call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you.
