Lost Account Credentials

The only credential for my account that I remember is my email, but I've forgotten the password to it! Is there some way I can get my account credentials back?

Digital download stopped working

Not sure how you managed that but change the credentials on that account asap if you can.

Account Merge

Unfortunately there currently is no account merging, I would suggest trying to figure out your log in credentials for the 360 account. This post may help

I'm assuming you are trying to access your Microsoft Account? There's always a password reset feature somewhere on the login screen. It should be a clickable link that says "Forgot your password?".

From there, it should send you a password reset link to your email. Then, you can access your account details as normal.

If you're having trouble accessing your email inbox, you'll have go through a different process that likely involves answering some security questions (that you have specified yourself).

Hi there,

you should be able to use the same account if you know the account credentials you have used on the old laptop. That should result in you being able to continue where you left off.

If you don't know the credentials then you will have to find them to be able to continue

a. Recover using your Alternate phone number or email address:

1. All you need to do is to go to https://account.live.com

2. Click on Sign in

3. Choose sign in options

4. Choose Forgot my username from there you will be ask for alternate email or phone number that you use with that account, if you enter it correctly then you will be able to see the right email for your account.
