Lost account and cannot recover, called Microsoft and now I'm getting an escalation, what ...

Hey all.

First off let me say that this is not the account in talking about, this is another account.

For about two years now my account has been blocked. I stopped playing Xbox live in 2011 and sometime between then and 2012 it happened. I tried to recover it it around the launch of Halo 4 but was unsuccessful, and now I've been trying over the
last few months to get it back so I could use it with my Xbox One. By that I mean I've only tried the acsr questionnaire, I never called up and made a case out of it.

Specifically when I go to log in it tells me my account has been blocked from too many password retries (it's been blocked for a few years) but I can't reset my password and unblock it because I don't recognize the backup email to send my code
to and I don't remember the answer to my security question. I was 12 or 13 when I made that email. So I fill out the questionnaire and enter all the information I do know, but I get an automatic email telling me with the information I provided they cannot
verify me. It did it in 2012, still doing it when I tried a few days ago. I called and made a case out of it, now they're doing an escalation and some higher up will be looking at my info.

I don't have much information to give on the questionnaire, so I felt like providing other proof. Last night I contacted a Microsoft rep and he attached 2 videos I made to my case. One showing me logging on my gamespot account that is linked to
the email in question (it actually shows it) and another showing emails from 2009 from the email in question I sent to my now main email. Maybe not they kind of proof that they accept, but hey something is better than nothing.

I asked the rep if with the information I provided does he think I will get my account back, but he couldn't say. So I'm posting this here to ask this, has anyone else been in a similar situation and did the same steps? What were your results?
This account is my childhood, I've used it since I first made it on my original Xbox, so I really hop I get it back.

If you know the original Microsoft Account email and gamertag associated with it, you need to contact official Xbox Support [Contact Us | Xbox Support] and see if an escalation option to recover your
account is possible. They can also help you secure your account to avoid it from getting compromised again.

 

I have to Test Connection every time I turn on my 360 to connect to Live

I'm not able to recover my profile, I get an error code. My GT corrupted, and now I can't get it back. I test my connection and everything is perfect... I tried to sign in on a different account and it works fine. So I know it's not my xbox OR my connection....
I'm lost I've done everything I can think of, but I keep getting an error code when I try to recover my GT, and it says "try again later."

 

Bump has anyone went through something like this before?

 

Sorry to hear it. If your tag was blocked because of too many wrong password attempts then you will need to contact the email website that it is associated with and deal with them. If you can provide them with enough account specific information they may
be able to unlock the email for you.
