    Okay, so new day means new issues... ;P

    For well over 2 months now, I have been unable to effectively edit my recorded clips. Regardless of whether I tell the Game DVR app to edit the clip in Upload Studio (which then opens that app) or to start from scratch in the Upload Studio app itself, the
    app (Upload Studio) rarely actually loads the clips so I can edit them - hazarding a guess, I would say it only works maybe >10% of the time. Most of the time, however, I could literally lose HOURS just trying to open the clips - and that's BEFORE I can even
    edit and upload them (which in itself takes a long time with my connection, depending on the length of the clip). Depending on how I do it, I'll get different errors - for example, it'll either say something along the lines of "couldn't load that clip; try
    again later" or "something went wrong; please try again" or it'll simply load forever ad-nauseum. Regardless, the result is the same - the clip(s) fails to load and I can't do any editing.

    Furthermore, also during this time period, I've noticed that when I attempt to load a clip into Upload Studio, there's often a textual word that simply says "frame" in the furthest-most top left corner above where the Upload Studio logo is while waiting
    for the clip to load in - this has constantly made me feel like I'm using an incomplete or bugged app, similar to a beta. Even worse, virtually nobody else I've talked to has seen this. However, that's probably because their connections allow for loading the
    clips much faster than mine does (so you'd have to have a slower connection to see it) AND you'd need a TV screen size setting greater than 16:9 too (for example, my Samsung TV has a setting called "just scan" which allows me to see about an inch further out
    around the edges than 16:9 does (which effectively cuts off the edges), because it's on the extreme edge and likely be seen on 16:9 or 4:3 screens.

    In any case, that's not the actual issue (hence the name of the thread's title). I've known about the above issues for, as I said, 2 months now and have figured it's either likely due to the preview program, a bad update to the app, or my slow connection
    (I hesitate to say it's the latter though, since I didn't have these problems in the past). So, earlier today, I deleted it and tried to reinstall it (which is something I've already tried before to no avail) in the hopes that it would get an update in the
    process or something. However, that's where the crux of my current issue starts. I reinstalled it, but whenever I select the app from my pins or from the My Games and Apps menu, all it does is take me to the store and from there, it asks me to install it.
    I click the install button, it "installs" for about 3 seconds, and then the install button is replaced with a launch button. Unfortunately, said launch button is "greyed out" so I can't click on it to launch the app. If I try to the Game DVR app to edit a
    clip in Upload Studio, nothing happens. So, now I'm in an even worse position. Before I could edit clips, so long as I didn't give up and was persistent, since it would eventually work (I'd usually get to frustrated and give up most of the time though), but
    now I can't edit my clips AT ALL since I can't even access the Upload Studio app.

    To its credit, the app has had a few updates I was unaware of until just yesterday - namely, the ability to name your screenshots or to rename them or your saved clips (including pre-edited clips), which is really nice. However, while renaming many of my
    screenshots yesterday, every time I would finish with 1, it would reload the screenshots - this is where another error occurred - the app failed to load all of my screenshots. Originally, I had 6+ screenshots, but once it failed to load them, I can only see
    and access 1, which means I can't view it, rename it, etc. Even after closing the app and re-opening it, it still only loads the 1 screenshot rather than all of them. I would've done a hard reset to see if that would fix this particular issue, but I decided
    to uninstall and reinstall the app, as I said above, and you all know how that went.

    So, as far as I can tell, the app is a buggy, stupid mess - and I don't even know why. And that's not even including the fact that it's missing numerous potential features that would be great for editing (for example, many 1st party Xbox themes - I, for
    1, would love to have a Killer Instinct theme to add to my videos).

    For the record, I've reported ALL of these to the feedback app within the preview program in the hopes that the dev team takes a look at it and can find a way to fix these particular issues with the app.

    Have any of you experienced any of the above issues or similar issues with the Upload Studio app?

    So I saved all of my captures to an app called Upload Studio, And now there all gone! But I can access them from within the Upload Studio. But can I get those captures back too my capture screen? And how?

    Hey Poulpc,

    Thanks for posting! The primary app we recommend using to check and manage your game clips will be the Upload Studio app. If you delete a clip after recording, does it show up in the Upload Studio app? If it does still appear right away, does waiting a minute
    or two reflect that the Clip is deleted properly?

    Let us know if the Upload Studio app behaves as expected.

  6. Okay, so there's good news and then there's bad news. The good news is I can now access the app again. The bad news is that all the same issues I had before (mentioned above) are still there. This means it's still going to be a pain to edit and upload clips.

    I believe they go to your onedrive account which you can access via mobile or PC. It also saves to the upload studio normally via the internal storage by default. Which can be access via the Upload studio app.
