    Hello, I need help recovering access to Minecraft: Java Edition after my original Microsoft account was hacked.

    • My Microsoft account was hacked and the hacker changed the primary alias (email) on the account.
    • I lost complete access to the account that had my Minecraft purchase.
    • The original account used my Gmail, and I have proof of the hacker removing my email and replacing it with theirs.
    • I created a new Microsoft account using the same Gmail I originally used (the one removed by the hacker).
    • I still have the original Minecraft order receipt with the transaction ID, order ID, and purchase date.
    • I’ve attached screenshots of the order receipt and Microsoft security alerts confirming the account was compromised.
    I want to know if it’s possible to:

    1. Transfer the Minecraft license to my new Microsoft account, or
    2. Recover access to my original account using the proof I provided.
    • Submitted an account recovery form.
    • Searched support articles and community posts.
    • Created a new Microsoft account with the same Gmail in case it helps with verification.
    • Transaction ID and order ID are visible in the attached receipt.
    • Purchase date: January 1, 2021
    • Game: Minecraft: Java Edition
    • Paid via Braintree, amount: $26.95 USD

    if you cannot access your microsoft account and have 2fa active then they are right all is lost, and as the microsoft account is the account that minecraft migrated too you have now lost minecraft if you cannot access the microsoft account.

    Have you migrated your Minecraft account to Microsoft?
