Lost access to Games with Gold library

Hi!

Yesterday I discovered that I lost access to all games that came with my Xbox Live Gold subscription.

I used a 12 months pre paid card in May and it will expire in 5/16/2018.

My Xbox's serial number is: [mod removed]

I'm logged in with this account: [mod removed]

Can you help me recover those games?

You get free games every month with Games for Gold although they are mostly rubbish. I like EA's new model of paying a monthly fee then getting access to a library of games, EA Access I think it's called

No I don't believe you will get access to this gold content as you have to be a gold member and have redeemed the games with gold offer whilst it was active.

I would not recommend you re subscribe from his account as he could very easily change his home console after you paid for the gold membership and you would lose access to the games.

If you are looking to build up a quick game library in addition to Games with Gold there is
EA Access and
Xbox Game Pass available on the console.

Is it possible when you redeemed the games you were signed in with a different account which is no longer tied to your Xbox One? If so, if that account has been removed or it has changed your home console you wouldn't be able to access the redeemed codes.

 

When I got this Xbox from my brother, he immediately signed out and I signed in with my account then I redeemed the 12 months membership code. It happened this May.

This console was also registered in developer preview program, but a few weeks earlier I reguested to be removed from the preview program. (So far, I'm only receiving the normal updates...)

Now this monday the games started to disappear! Forza 5, Watch Dogs, Grow Up, Trial Fusions...

 

Hey bl3cksun! It sounds like your brother may have had that console set as his home console which would give you access to his games. Double check with him and see if he's changed it recently. Post back and let us know how it goes!

He pre-ordered the new Xbox One X. He had a Xbox One S before that. He signed into the new X and signed out from the S.

Is it related to my problem?

So that means, that I lost the past 5 months Live games and there is no way to recover them, because of the "home" Xbox settings?

 

Hey bl3cksun! Unfortunately the games were installed using your brother's account so he is the one that owns them. If he sets your console as his home Xbox you will have access to them again. Otherwise you will need to buy the missing games in order to play
