    This isn't my problem, it's my friend having this issue.

    He owns a digital copy of Elder Scrolls Online. Well, he did.

    Recently, he got into some trouble. He was banned for a day from all communications, and he is no longer allowed to license transfer (for some reason).

    After this, he lost access to ESO. He owns the game digitally, and he is the one who purchased it, on that console. But when he tries to start it up, it asks him if he owns it, and the store just has the "Buy" option. We see no way to fix it, and he's a bit
    depressed about it, as he can't afford to spend another $60 to buy the game again, and the horror stories of Xbox Support regarding license issues is discouraging him.

    Do you own this game or app?

    Sorry to hear it. Please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps.

    If it does not then you may need to try deleting then reinstalling the game. You can delete the game by highlighting it from the dashboard then press the start button on the controller and choosing Delete.

    To reinstall go to My Games & Apps then Ready to Install.

    EA Access trial - "Do you own this game or app?"

    So I've got an issue with EA Access. I'm trying to play the FIFA 19 trial (haven't played any hours yet) yet it says "Do you own this game or app"

    Ive reinstalled it multiple times, removed my account and then added it back and cleared Alternate MAC address yet I still get the same message each time I try to play the game.

    I have also tried to launch the game through the EA Access app, where i still get the same message.

    What do I do?

    Any help is appreciated, cheers.

    If your friend can provide proof that the content was purchased, like a email confirmation, then contact
    Xbox Support.

    Same but I've tried that 6 times now. Usually that fixes most issues I have on xbox.

    Ok, then it's an issue with the demo, contact EA and talk to them. They might be aware, they might be working on the issue. but since this is the weekend you and others in this situation may need to wait until Monday.

    I'm on the same account and EA Access shows up that I bought it. I guess im just going to cancel the subscription and get my money back EA support also has zero solutions for a problem I can find from over year ago.
    Have you tried the other suggestion of doing a reset of the console? Make sure it's a hard reset and fully shuts down.

    Hold the power button down for 10 seconds until the console is off, wait 30 seconds then turn it back on.
