Lost a lot of Xbox 360 save data

so last July I bought an Xbox one, and had to sell my xbox 360 to do so. Well my dad let me transfer my profile onto his Xbox 360 elite so that I could still play my old games. But now that I want to go back and play games like darksiders 2 and skyrim, I
can't because I seem to have lost my save data when I moved my profile. I even have record of playing the games as the achievements are all still there, but the data isn't. Can anyone help me with this? I also would like to know if I can do anything to prevent
this from happening again. Thanks

Cloud Saves (Lost a lot of Saves and ***)

Hey,

This is REALLY not cool.

I am seeing like nothing in my saves (except what was saved locally I think) and I have lost the ability to go back 30 minutes or so. I KNOW I have way more saves than are on the list.

There does not appear to me to be anyway to fix/look at the problem. I got green lights everywhere.

Please help.

Cannot join a club in Forza Horizon 4

For whatever reason, after reinstalling my profile and launching Forza the synced data from the cloud was not correct. I lost all of my progress in the game (20+ million cr, lvl 110, lots of rare cars). Is there any way to obtain old cloud save data? I
know I have cloud saves as I switch between PC and Xbox. All gone now.

If you sold your Xbox 360, and did not upload you gamesaves to the Cloud service, I'm afraid you're not able to get them back, unless the person you sold to is your friend, and has not deleted your gamesaves yet, you can ask him/her to let you log on into
his Xbox and upload it to the Cloud, so you'll be able to access in any other Xbox 360 console.

Otherwise, unfortunately your gamesaves are lost.

Did you save a copy of your gamesaves on any external USB or HDD when you transfer them to your dad's xbox?

Hello Alexander,

What console are you playing on the Xbox 360 or Xbox one/s/x? There is the cloud saves that helps with this issue. As for the 360 you have to manually enable this feature, so if something happens with the game, and it gets corrupt on the console somehow.
There is no way to back up the save due to it overwrites on the hard drive of the console. IF cloud save was enabled you would be able to revert to the last save uploaded to cloud. This is the bad part of the 360 when saving to the hard drive. personally I
lost lots of data when I played 360 for the same reasons.

Hi Neizo,

All the achievements are stored on the 360 servers. So if the save data was lost the achievements will still be done. Same with backward compatible games. Personally played a lot of games on 360 now they are available on the Xbox one as backward compatible
and the achievements are done from when I played before. You can always check achievements on trueachievements.com

If you're unable to use an Xbox 360 to verify that your saves are uploaded to the cloud, then it is possible that you may have lost access to your save data due to a corruption in the data or they've simply been lost when transferring to a new console. I've read that uninstalling the game and reinstalling or removing your account from the console and re-adding it may fix the issue if the saves are indeed not lost. Also, be sure that your device is both updated and connected to the internet.

Are there any other Xbox 360 games that are experiencing this issue?
