Loss receipt for X box 360 gift card

I brought my grandson a gift card for his birthday and i loss the receipt with the code. I still have the gift card. Is there anyway Microsoft can retrieve the activation code?

i was wanting to know if the x-box gift cards work on x-box360 consoles and can they be used on downloadable dlc such as mass effect 3 disc cause it says i need to put a redem a code from some kind of gift card i think but im not entirely sure cause i never
had to use gift cards my mother is afraid to use her debit card or credit card to buy the dlc off of the online dlc downloadable content my mom is just gonna ask walmart if the x-box gift cards work for the x-box360 system but i wanted to find out my way
XD so why not use this site and ask? i usually ask google if they can be used on such and such but i wanted to try this out

If you have a receipt for the gift card you could try speaking to where you purchased the gift card from to see if they are able to deactivate this card and supply you a replacement.

 

You would have to try contacting the retailer you purchased it from to see if there is anything they can do, otherwise no. Microsoft is not responsible for lost or stolen codes.
