Loss of my backup files ( Monster Hunter World Iceborn )

Hi, I'm contacting you because i have a big issue with my game Monster Hunter World Iceborn.

This morning i downloaded the DLC : Iceborn for the game. I played more or less 1h then I saved and disconnected.

When i came back to play again later, I launched the game and I cliqued on " Continue " on the main menu like always but this time instead of showing me the character selection the game directly launched the cinematic of the beginning of the game, and the creation
of a new character. As if my backup no longer existed... I can't acces to my old character now... I was HR 277 and I and 550h of time played... I can't acces to iceborn witch i paid 40€ because i have to finish the entire game again...

I play on Xbox One S.

Please can you backup my saves or something ? I don't understand what happened !

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, cloud saves do not save multiples. It overwrites the file each time it is uploaded. If it has got corrupt or deleted there is no way of recovering it unfortunately on Microsoft side. Remember for games you are connecting
to a game server, this is why we recommend you to the developers. As some maybe able to recover a save from their servers. We have no control over others game servers. Microsoft helps with the launch of the game and then the game server takes over. As there
is nothing more we here on the forums can do for this situation. I will be locking this thread.

Thank you for your quick reply.

I tried it, I re-installed my game to. I contacted Capcom, they said that tey can't do anything and that i have to contact Xbox support.

Basically you're saying that 550 hours of my life has been deleted for no reason after buying a paid DLC and neither capcom who own the game or Microsoft who own Xbox can do anything about that ?? It's a shame !!

There is nothing anyone in the forums can do. Have you tried removing your profile and then reloading it? You might try contacting the game's support group for assistance. Unfortunately, if the save has been deleted or corrupted you will not be able
to recover it.
