Loss of internet connection whenever I start a Microsoft Store game / Game Pass game

Most DNS issues tend to be something to do with hardware related things. For this matter, there are a few things that could be causing this:

- TCP/IP Offload is enabled for a network adapter

- TCP/IP v6 is enabled and their ISP does not yet support TCP/IP v6.

- The spanning tree “portfast" setting is not enabled on your servers switch ports.

- Router and PC communicating with different channel or standard.

Have you had a chance to restart your router? This can solve the majority of the issues with your network connection.

Additionally, if you can test your network in the Xbox App and let us know what you are displaying, this can be done by
selecting the Start button on your PC, select
Settings > Gaming >
Xbox Networking and check NAT type.

Go ahead and let us know what these results are, and we should be able to assist you a bit further.

So I have actually been on that page about DNS issues before but just as a sanity check I went through all the fixes it again. Doesn't help that all the fixes are for Windows 7 not Windows 10 but I followed them through as best I could. None of the fixes
on that page worked.

I have restarted the router multiple times over the last month. Just done it again now. No fix.

Here are my NAT status before starting a game pass game:

Internet connection: Connected

Xbox live services: Up and running

Latency: 146 ms

Packet loss: 0%

NAT Type: Open

Server connectivity: Connected

And while playing a game pass game:

Internet connection: Not connected

Xbox live services: Not available

Latency: Not available

Packet loss: Not available

NAT Type: Teredo is unable to qualify

Server connectivity: Blocked

Buying the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate while having a subscription already will convert the days you have left into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with no extra cost. The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold.

You will be charged Rs 699 if you purchase Xbox Game Pass and then purchase the Ultimate version.

Games will not be able to run if you do not have a valid internet connection. This is due to microsoft needing to verify the accounts subscription to Xbox Game Pass. If you start the game and then turn off the internet connection, you might be able to keep
