    Loss of control


    I recently started to experience a loss of control when i tey to scroll through the menus. The system will automatically scroll down to the very bottom and i can't get control to scroll back up. What could be causing this to happen and is there any way
    to fix it without having to buy a new console

    Hey Craig

    Thank you for reaching out. The first thing you want to try is performing a
    power cycle     by doing the following:

    1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button
      on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
      Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button
      on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

    The controller is busted. If the power cycle doesnt fix it. It's time for a new one bud the right stick module seems to be broken

    Trust me replacing the batteries was the first thing i tried and i also tried using a different controller

    Definitely try the full power cycle detailed above. Have you also tried replacing your batteries?
