    Earlier this evening i signed in on my xbox one as normal and started cod ww2. No sound, returned to home screen and still no sound.

    First i checked physical connections, hdmi ect. Tv has sound from other sources.

    Had a quick look online & did a hard reset, no luck.

    Entered settings, display & sound, video output, fidelity&ovserscan, auto/hdmi/auto ect. No luck

    Settings, system, console info, reset console, reset & keep my games & apps.

    This enabled sound on boot up and sound moving from icon to icon.

    Re started cod ww2 to find not only loss of sound again but all the games (37) saved to hdd (internal) are now requiring reinstalling.

    So pretty much left with a brick.

    What do i do now?

    The sound issue is still the + the loss of games.

    Have you tried a different HDMI cord by chance? I would try that before getting it serviced. It may save you some time.

    Hey there along4daride!

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue with your console.

    You've done a quite of bit of troubleshooting already. I would say that if the problem persists, you might have to get it serviced. You can get that done by our service team by either creating a repair order here at

    device support     or by getting in contact with
    customer support     and having an agent help you with one.
