Losing Xbox Live connection when opening games.

I can connect to Xbox live no problem, until I try to play a game. It kicks me out of Xbox live then when I try to re-connect it freezes while the little circle is going round. Waited 10 mins to see if it would continue Couldn't even go back, cancel
or exit. Had to power Xbox off from console. Help! :-(

I have been in settings and tested connection. All is fine. :-/

trying to play games with friends online and i keep losing my xbox live connection when ever i start any game i own

Hey there, deleting the profile from the console (profile only), clear the system cache, restart the console and re-download the profile will usually clear this up.

Delete and re-download profile:
support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Clear system cache:
support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

What it sounds like is that your losing internet connection between the Xbox and the router for some reason.

There could be one in a million different reasons that you could lose the connection.

I honestly have heard one story of one guy that would be fine all morning playing the game then when his kids came home at a certain time he would lose connection for a split second.

Come to find out his router was between his fridge and his xbox and when the kids would open up the fridge for that split second he would lose connection.

This is just one example of how you could lose connection for a split second like that and that split second can cause you to be disconnected from the live services.
