Losing stable connection while gaming online

i have a problem with my controller and turtle beach stealths 600’s series 2 disconnecting from my Xbox at random when I’m playing a game my audio starts getting all crackled and then lags and then disconnect from my Xbox.

Given that you have an issue with your connection stability, it is hard to pin-point to exactly what's the problem and how to fix it. If you only get this problem with your Xbox Series X, it would be interesting to try a few procedures and check if one of them fix it. Otherwise, if they don't, it is most likely something related to your internet connection, as mentioned by the Internet company. Also, try to change your console Ethernet connection by Wi-Fi, just to make sure that the problem isn't on the Ethernet cable (which could cause issues). If you are sure that the problem isn't on your Ethernet cable, let's try some things on your console itself.

Follow these steps:

1. With the console on, press and hold the Xbox button on the console itself until it shuts off.

2. Unplug it from the wall for 30 seconds.

3. Connect it to wall again.

4. Turn it on.

5. Try to run the game and see if the issue has been resolved.

If you keep having the issue, let's try to perform a factory reset while keeping games & apps installed. Make sure that you know the login credentials to all Xbox Live profiles currently signed in on your console, because they will be removed (including any games/subscription sharing with Home Xbox switches). Follow these steps:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. On the Reset your console? screen, select Reset and keep my games & apps.

5. After you select one of the options, your Xbox console will begin the process of erasing the selected content and resetting itself to the default settings.

Check if your still have the problem. If you do, then it is most certain that your issue is on some other part of your Internet connection.

Does it lose connection while playing online games or just while playing games like Skyrim while connected? I've noticed my xbox loses connection every 20 minutes or so if it doesn't have an 'alive' connection. I'm bridged through a PC. If the connection
doesn't get used either from the PC bridge (I keep that alive by using ping) or at the console itself my connection is dropped.

Other devices doesn't require a real time connection, Pc, mobile phones and Tv can have a buffer that allows them to lose connection for moments without having issues

Console uses a real time connection to play online ganes, the fact that the console works perfectly on other services means that during online games you are losing connection or it's not being a stable speed, have you tried resetting the network or using a different one?

You can see it is possible to bridge or pass through the Ubee EVW3200 modem and once that is done in theory you should be able to connect up an Xbox live Compatible router

However... unless you know someone that already has a compatible router that you can borrow and test it - it means you'll have to take a gamble on whether it will work or not, it certainly should do but you won't know until you try it and pay for a new router
