Losing money to xbox subscription

I had subscribed for the Xbox game pass (the one I had was about 3 months). After a while, the school had started, and I had completely forgotten about it until recently when my money was suddenly taken, and I realized that the only place where the money
could've gone was from the Xbox game pass subscription. Unfortunately, I have no access to that account, but I have all my credit card information. When I try to take back my account using the account recovery system, it says that even my credit card information
isn't enough? I created that quickly and had forgotten many things that I wrote there, which I regret deeply. So is there any way to cancel that account and get a refund? This was yesterday, so I should be able to get a refund, I hope.

    :)

Oh noes!!! Crazy man wants to sell off the Xbox brand!!!

The average XBox LIVE subscription is £39.99 if you pay full price in the UK.

Now how many people have an XBox LIVE subscription?

When you do the the math, statements like:
well xbox doesn't make money for it's parent company. In fact xbox loses money for M$.
... simply don't add up.

    My idea

How would losing the subscription money from about 50 million people make them more money ?

You do realise that most of the money from dlc goes to the games publishers/developers & not Microsoft?

Windows 10 and xbox party chat?

I'm willing to bet that Party Chat is going to remain a Gold exclusive feature.

As much as Microsoft are trying to woo the PC gamer, they also know that the Xbox gamer makes them a lot of money via the Gold subscription. There's no way they want to risk losing that money.
