    Losing connection.

So far I've been losing connection to multiplayer games for the past few days now. Everything was fine till the day Xbox live went down a few days ago. My internet connection is fine and my NAT type is open. I've also noticed it's happening to others as
well. So this isn't an isolated issue. Such games I'm having issues with are Gigantic, Fable Legends, Smite, Halo 5, Elder Scrolls Online and a bunch of other games. So far only game I'm not having issues with is Neverwinter.

    :)

Run those tests a few times especially around the time where you are having problems on the Xbox, if they look similar contact your ISP as those stats are terrible. The packet loss is bad and the upload speed is none existent.

    Losing connection.

Try doing a hard reset on your console and all your network equipment (modem & Router) and see if it helps you stay connected. Let us know. Good Luck!

I've tried hard resetting both console and modem/router and it didn't work. I still get disconnected randomly when playing online multiplayer matches. Luckily Netflix isn't effected, but I just wish I could play a game online without getting disconnected
    randomly. :/

  6. Most likely , a router issue ....list what you have and we will see...

What Country/State/Province do you live in?

    Modem brand & model number:

    Router brand & model number:

How many Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles are connected to this router?:

Wired or Wireless (for each console):

    Things you have tried:

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/No/Unknown:

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?:

    Any Error Codes you encounter:

Who is your ISP? (Internet Service Provider):

Well I live in USA, South Bend, Indiana.

Two Xbox one consoles are connected wirelessly to the modem.

    My ISP is Comcast Xfinity.

Modem brand. It's not the latest model, but it's the model before the latest.

I'm not receiving any NAT errors and my NAT type is open.

Things I've tried: I've tried hard resetting both console and modem. I've tried deleting profile and then re-downloading it. I've tried different frequencies on the modem, both 2.4 and 5.0. I've tried just about everything.

The strange thing is, I don't lose connection from Xbox live itself, only the games themselves that require signing in. The only game I've not had problems staying connected with is Neverwinter. Plus, like I've said, I've not had any problems before till
Xbox live services went crazy last week. Ever since then, it's been hard staying connected to certain games.

You failed to give the router name and model , I need that to check and see if it is one of the "problem" routers , like Arris , or Technicolor ...(they both have bad wireless issues) easiest way to troubleshoot would be hardwire one of the Xboxes and see
    if the problem disappears....

  10. you can check the "known issues" on the link below

    forums.xbox.com/.../1811663.aspx

I would try and hardwire it to see if its a wireless problem or a whole router problem .... you can also reset it to factory defaults and see if the problem disappears...

    Losing connection

I'd start by clearing the system cache (it's just updates plus other temporary files, nothing that's at all important to anyone) by:

    1) Tap the silver Xbox Guide button on the controller, go right 2 clicks to Settings, pick System Settings.

    2) Select Storage (or Memory).

    3) Move over any hard drive or memory unit (not the Cloud) & press (Y) on your controller & pick Clear System Cache.

    4) When asked to confirm storage device maintenance, choose Yes.

If that doesn't fix it *please* first

    1) go to http://www.xbox.com/accounts & click on Sign in at upper right - if you can't sign in then STOP: DON'T delete your profile. Please call Xbox Support
support.xbox.com/contact-us for help with your account. If you can sign in, delete & redownload your profile on your Xbox this way:

    2) Go to Settings

    3) pick System

    4) choose Storage

    5) pick All Devices

    6) choose Gamer Profiles

    7) pick the gamertag

    8) choose Delete, and

    9) pick Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements. Now, re-download your profile.

    Re-download

    1) Tap the silver Xbox Guide button

    2) Select Download Profile (and if you don't see it, press the blue X button to make sure you're not signed in) and proceed with Profile Download.

    3) Enter the Windows Live ID for your Xbox LIVE gamertag when asked.

    4) Enter the password for the WLID.

4A) If your account is an Xbox LIVE child account, the parent’s Windows Live ID & password is required as well to download your profile.

    5) Pick the storage device for your profile (choose Hard Drive if you have one, or Memory Unit if you don't have a Hard Drive).

    6) When the download completes you will be asked if you want the console to remember your password. If it's your home console, I'd say yes, otherwise I'd think carefully about leaving my profile unprotected on somebody else's Xbox!

    7) Sign in, and play!
