    "Losing connection to other players"


    Hey, fam! Whenever I play Halo 4 Spartan Ops on Xbox Live with my brother who lives in a different state, we both get a message saying,
    "You have lost connection to the other players in the game. Please try again later."

    We can play Wargames and will not have a single issue. However, when we play Spartan Ops together, we'll get that message anywhere from 2-7 minutes into the game. Microsoft Customer Service was of zero help, so I'm hoping someone on the forums will have an
    idea.

    Details:

    • We both have great internet
    • He has an Xbox One and I have a 360 S
    • It's legit only with Spartan Ops

    I can play anything on Live by myself and I'll never get booted — it's only when I play Spartan Ops with him.

    Last 3 days I keep getting disconnected from xbox live

    I think it's pretty weird you losing connection because of a bad disc. Have you tried to play other games?

    Network Stats

    What is the
    NAT Type     on both

    Let us know so we can further investigate this issue and get it squared away!

    Odd, my first thought is NAT issues but if you can connect to other games together then it doesn't sound like it.

    Look into it to eliminate it as a cause though: Xbox One NAT Error | NAT Type Help

    I am hoping other Ambassador's will have some ideas too.

    Odd, my first thought is NAT issues but if you can connect to other games together then it doesn't sound like it.

    found this out the hard way the other day. me and my friend had to go thru the entire list of dlc to see what he had and i didnt. i just got the game, so stuff that was free around xmas time and other times u have to pay for now. he ended up having to save
    his stuff to a flash drive, and then delete the dlc i didnt have. it blows

    I can honeslty say I have experienced a similar problem. I could not connect to my friend's game on his xbox. We both went through the DLC we both have, and it was EXACTLY the same. He called Xbox and spoke to 5 CSAs, 2 Supervisors who sent it over to their
    "Tech Dept" where it is up to a level 2 problem. We did all the troubleshooting things they told us to do as well. We are waiting to hear back about it. We can play together if we delete the DLC, but honestly we shouldn't have to. One of the supervisors said
    this problem seems to be common on the PC version, but Lionhead has yet to do anything about it or even respond to it. I agree, the DLC someone has shouldn't make a difference in who you decide to play with.
