Losing audio

Every time I play Destiny I lose audio. I have to turn off xbox and unplug it to restore audio. But this is a recurring problem. Before I play Destiny I have to unplug my xbox one to get audio back. Please fix.

Not a problem with it last night, aside from losing audio briefly in 1 match.... hopefully that's a sign of things to come and stuff is now fixed.

Head into the console settings (the burger / three lines) button on the controller and head to the audio settings, chances are its somehow set to 5.1/7.1 or something similar and your setup doesn't support it, as a result you're losing some of the audio
channels.

 

Try this: While in the game with the sound glitch happening hit the guide button to go to the dashboard, then simply go back to the game by clicking the square where you see Destiny. (where it shows the game being installed) This has worked for me when I
get the sound glitch.

 

This happens to me all the time, I just click guide button to dashboard and press A to get back in. Takes 1 second

 

Yep, same here every time I start the game.

 

Glad to know that I'm not the only person with this problem I have to come out of it quickly jump into another game then back to Destiny

 

Pressing the guide button and then jumping back in does not work for me. I have to unplug the console to reset it or something.

 

Try this; press the guide button, then highlight Destiny, then the small right button on the controller. Select "Quit", then restart. Works for me everytime it happens.

 

Happens to me as we'll ! Try to snap twitch and the sound come back without resting the x1 -skrilla69

 

Do you have the preview dashboard update?

Apparently it's a bug caused by the update.

I have copy and pasted this info from the preview forums.

Destiny Known Issues :

1.No Audio when returning from connected Standby. When entering connected standby with Destiny running, game audio may not be present when resuming from connected standby. 1.Workaround 1: Return to the dashboard and re-open the game; game audio should now
play as normal.

2.Workaround 2: Quit and re-launch the game.

2.Distorted audio when playing Destiny. When playing Destiny, the game audio is distorted and/or I hear a high-pitched sound. This occurs when the “Chat Mixer” setting is set to anything other than “Do nothing.” This happens whether you have a Kinect attached
or not. 1.You can work around this issue by turning “Chat Mixer” to “Do Nothing”. The default setting is “Reduce the volume of other sounds by 50%."

2.Follow these steps to set Chat Mixer to “Do nothing”:1.Press the Home button to return to the Home Screen.

2.Press the menu button (≡) and select Settings.

3.Select the Display and sounds tile.

4.Scroll over to the VOLUME column and select Chat mixer

5.Highlight Do Nothing and make sure that option is selected.

6.Once that option is selected, you can re-launch Destiny.

 

I have it on the xbox360 and the only sound that works is my gun firing And some music. So i literally cant hear anything else. Can someone help me?
