    so this is new, i had my polk 4 since they were released, now the issues i have is weird. i lose sound/mic from the headset connected to the controller if it fall asleep. when i wake it back up no sound, if i turn the controller off, it wont reconnect to
    the x1, and if i power cycle, not 10 second hold the power my kinect will big out and every min or so will turn off and turn on.

    if i do a 10 second reboot everything is fine till the controller goes back to sleep.

    once the controller cant sync with xbox even the play and charge kit wont power it back on or make it usable.

    Sidebar headset settings won't change

    Hey there!

    What type of headset are you using with your controller? It sounds like the settings are possibly resetting when the headset loses connection. Have you tried a different headset or a different controller?

    Hi, sorry I forgot to check back. It's been a little better lately, but I have gotten a new controller just today. Since I never know when exactly it will strike next, it might be a few hours or days before I can tell if the new one doesn't have the problem
    or not.

    I had one controller before my current one that also had similar problems towards the end of its life, but the killer for that was a different problem.

    True. Either way you're screwed.

    On: It's going to make that "buzzing" sound.

    Off: You lose vibration.

    But the good news is. For my headsets(X11, X12) they only do that when I have the cord for talking plugged in both the headset, and the controller. So for most of the time. I can play with the vibration turned on.

    Well the controller sounds faulty. I have had controllers work on my PC but do exaclty what you describe on my console too. Personally I can understand how it could upset you, but what I would do is return the controller to wherever you purchased it, not
    smash your console, and try another controller in the exchange. The recharge battery packs are notorious for losing charge. Thats not a badly manufactured item, that is the nature of the beast of rechargable batteries. They eventually lose that recharge memory.

    Sorry for the frustrations this does sound irritating and unusual. You stated that you delete the Xbox controller from audio devices, have you instead tried to disable it? If you delete it Windows will just reinstall the drivers each time. Is your controller
    perhaps losing connection to your pc when this occurs? If you are using a lose connection or the controllers wireless connection is interrupted it could cause it to reconnect and mess with the audio on your pc as a new audio device has been detected.

    Just unlocked the M98B.

    Last time I checked this was a video GAME. I play to have fun. Win or lose. You sound like you need some mental help or to put down the controller and get out more.
