Lose games after region change on XB1. NOT "migration"!

If I understand, it's one thing to change language & region ON my XB1, and another thing to "migrate" my Live account, right?

I just want to know if I'll lose games after I switch my region from US to France.

I bought them on my XB1 while the region was set to USA, I want to quickly switch to France, where I live, so I can setup OneGuide with my FR TV provider, then switch back to US.

Will this be possible? Thanks!

When Xbox One is released in Norway/Sweden, will I still get to keep the games I downloaded off Marketplace when my region was set to USA ?

I live in Norway where Xbox One hasn't been released yet. I just got an Xbox One from abroad. I had to choose a region, and since Norway wasn't the option, I chose USA.

But I've heard that once Xbox One releases in Norway / Sweden etc, we who downloaded games through the Marketplace as if we were located in the USA, will lose access to the games we purchased through the Marketplace, once we change our region to our real
countries, Norway / Sweden / Denmark etc.

Is this true ? If so, I obviously don't want to purchase games off Marketplace. But since XB1 isn't released here, getting a hold of XB1 games in stores is hard.

And if you lose access to your games do you also lose your achievements earned, your stats, etc ?

 

When I turn XB1 on, it wont let my wife's laptop connect to her work VPN. Why?

Is there a setting I can change on the XB1 or my router to fix this problem?

If the XB1 is on, her laptop loses its connection to the work VPN and is unable to get it back until I turn the XB1 off. We cant change any settings on her computer because it's government issued.

As I remember if you change regions, you would then have to wait 90 days to change it again, so it can not be done quickly. This link might help you:

Yeah, no, that's the thing. There seems to be confusion with "Migrating Live accounts" and "change Xbox One regions."

You're correct that you can only change your Live account region every 90 days.

But the Xbox One is a different beast.

I know for a fact that you can switch the "language/region" settings on you Xbox One as often you want. The first day I bought mine, two months ago, I did it at least five times.

But that was before I bought any games.

If you're Anglophone and living in say, France (like me!) and you want your Kinect commands and games in English, you have to change the XB1 region to US, UK, CN, AU, etc...

So now that I have a decent amount of games downloaded from the Store, I'm worried if I'll lose them if I have to switch language settings back to France.
