Lords of the Fallen [Digital] Not Receiving Day One Patch

Hey guys.

I downloaded Lords of the Fallen earlier and upon reading online I saw that there was a Day One patch which I didn't receive. I just carried on thinking it may prompt me at a later date, but a friend recently bought the game on disc and was prompted to patch
it right away.

So I'm wondering is this an issue with the digital release? As the update is quite substantial and fixes a lot of what is wrong with the game.

Having the same issue as ChewyWaffles with Lords of the Fallen (digital). Support is saying there is an issue with xbox 360 but not xbox one. Anything to try other than unplug?

 

I am in the same situation, I spent 2hrs with support in chat and still no answer, its like the patch doesn't exist for the digital download customers.

 

Usually with xbox one games, if you install the game for the 1st time, then if any patches are available then they download automatically with the game too.

 

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one in this situation Scratch. I had a feeling it may have had something to do with the game being brought forward last minute in the UK, not sure what region you are in though so my theory could be completely wrong.

I thought the game may have done that Stuart but the only thing on my hard drive pertaining to Lords of the Fallen is the game itself at 5.5GB. The all inclusive file size would be nearer 10GB had the patch installed which is what is confusing me. Hopefully
tomorrow will bring the patch.

 

I agree if it included the patch it would be north of 10 gigs, while the game works I'm suffering from screen tearing and other issues. I'm in western America. In Microsoft city so you think they could get there stuff together. I sent a message to the developers
support page so who knows. I'm surprised there haven't been more instances.

 

This games runs very poor on the X1. These are the types of issue that MS and publishers need to get a handle on. Its unfortunate this game was released the way it is. To me, its almost unplayable, suffering for tremendous stutter, frame rate issues,
and botched surround sound (goes to 2Channel most of the time)

Its unfortunate because nothing will come out of posting on this forum, in terms of the game developers and/or MS. For what its worth I sent a tweet to [tag:lotfgame] Tuesday. No response.

 

If you bought a digital version of Lords of the Fallen, it already includes a Content Update (patch).

We tested our game on many different display devices and we did not observed a screen tearing issue, can you please provide us some more information? It would be much appreciated.

Which resolution you have set in Xbox Settings and what kind of device (TV) do you use?

Can you please be a bit more specific about issues you encountered? The game should run stable in 30 FPS.

 

Alert! Patch is NOT included in digital download on xbox one! It is although NOT loading when the game is started! There is only a 5gb huge download game. . . Maybe patch is available at former planned release date on microsoft servers ?!?! I bought the
game already and i would give it a chance, but this situation sucks. ;-)

 

Pretty sure the patch not installed.

The conversations / sounds with NPC's don't work, that or the talking starts 2 to 3 sentences in. Lol

Also achievements are glitched / not popping for me. I've died a few times and still no achievement, that and also reclaiming my souls hasn't pop yet either.

Going to clear my cache first to test, might un-install and re-install to see if this clears up.

Hopefully they release the patch for the digital version soon, until then I won't play it.

 

It should be nearly 10 gb with patch included. The patch seems to be the second half of the game.

 

I dont have the digital game but retail and I am also having a patch issue. I get prompted to download after a instal of disk. it downloads a 5.4gb patch but my game size doesn't increase. so basicly its downloading and not installing. still having slight
framestuttering issues. I sent an email to *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** (they mentioned that on their twitter for an issue) but i haven't heard anything ..

 

Same issue here. Digital download with no prompt for update. Totale cache size is 5.4gb.

 

Seems i have the same problem, the patchnotes says it will fix on Xbox One the Soundproblems with the missing sounds, i still have this problems.

Same problems with the FPS and strange graphics glitches.

When will the digital Version get the update?
