Loose/ Wobbly Power Cord

Firstly, I wasn't sure if this thread should go here or in the Console sub-forum. Mods please feel free to move this if need be.

So today i moved my XBox One off the entertainment unit to give it a clean. I noticed that the cord that goes from the power INTO the power brick seems loose. I have to tug it to pull it out of the socket so I don't think it'll just fall out, but I was able
to wobble it up and down and side to side. Is this normal and/or safe?

This is the second console I've had after the first one was bricked by an update. It's worked perfectly since I got it (touch wood) but I'd hate for something to happen. So, does this need to be addressed or is it normal?

Can you pause and switch with Disc version of games?

I found the Square triangle etc buttons had a wobbly loose feeling. Cheap.

Please refrain from using the word "wobbly" right now. Certain groups of gamers are a little sensitive right now.

Mine is the same way, if it gets bumped at all, it disconnects the cord. This is obviously a design flaw. The hole where the cord plugs into the brick is larger than the cord, therefore it lets it wobble. Microsoft will not do anything but sell me another
power supply. Makes me really wish I had went with the PS4...have only had it a week and may return it and go with the PS4.

Sorry to hear about the Xbox One Power Supply concerns. The power supply cable shouldn't be wobbling for you, but if it is and it's so close to your purchase date we recommend reaching out to the retailer for a quick exchange. This will be quick than sending
your power supply out for a replacement.

Also, to avoid bumping your Power Supply I recommend keeping it off the floor in an open and well-ventilated surface. If you have any questions on this please create a new thread, as this thread is quite old. Thank you
