    I am constantly bombarded with the message every time I try to play Star Wars: Battlefront 2. EA play should not be an issue considering this is a disc game that I have owned this game physically literally since the day it released. I have tried power cycling my Xbox One three times. I have ejected the disc multiple times, cleaned it, restarted the Xbox, etc. Nothing is working.

    I pay for Xbox Live (or what used to be Xbox Live) exclusively to play this game. The fact that I apparently cannot even do that for a game I have owned for nearly eight years is ridiculous. This was never an issue prior to game pass and Live being bundled together. I should not need to upgrade to an EA play subscription just to play a game that I already own.

    As you can see in this thread, many players have reported this, and most mentioned you can solve it by going in the Xbox App, search for Minecraft, click the 'Get' option after downloading the installer:

    This seems to be the most reliable way to fix this issue, since the basic troubleshooting seems to not work.

    I've just checked, Sea of Thieves Anniversary edition is still on game pass. upon clicking on it tells me I'm able to play it. clicking the play button I was then lead to the message from before. I think the best option is too wait for this whole thing
    to blow over, I think this game pass pc thing is fairly new so I'm gonna give it a month or two more.

    Sadly it didn't work for me, but I'm pretty sure this game pass pc thing is new. You could only expect bugs and I hope xbox is working to fix this. hopefully it doesn't take too long to fix this.

    Well I did actually have a windows update, after restarting I opened it up and it lead me to the same message. I guess I'm just gonna have to wait.
    That's certainly what it sounds like, I was hoping that the Windows Update would solve it, that's what happened with me and Astroneer about 18 months ago. It wouldn't let me load the game at all until I did the Windows Update. Gears of War wouldn't let me
    load until I had the latest graphics card drivers.

    Signing out and back in didn't work, neither did a Windows Update, perhaps seeing if your graphics card drivers are up to date might help?
