    It's just another money making thing, I myself am guilty of buying Skyrim gear for mine, even though I knew it was an absolute waste of money, I just couldn't resist the dragon bone amour.

    Given that they have removed the Avatar options from other devices (Xbox One Smart Glass and Games app on Windows 8.1 for example) I don't think that the article is coming to happen as they describe.

    The dashboard designs don't really support their placement any more.

    I always thought they were just a response to the Wii ones and the popularity of that console at the time.
