Looking to Merge Microsoft accounts

Hello wonderful community!

I have two Microsoft accounts. One that I use currently for billing information and that contains all of my office products, and another, older account attached to a past email that has some of my old Xbox content. I frequently run into problems using the
Game Pass product because my billing accounts and Xbox accounts are separate.

I either need to merge the accounts, or find a way to merge the accounts, or move the Xbox info to my newer account. I tried to search past results, but nothing newer than earlier last year came up, and all let me know that I just have to deal with it.

I'm afraid you may be out of luck

However, you may be able to migrate the gaming account to a new email address and then move your office products over to your gaming account whenever your subscription etc. lapses.

The problem is that I only have two email addresses. One that the primary account uses, and one the secondary users. After trying the recommended alias steps, I received the error message saying you can't use the email address because it's used on a different
account, defeating the purpose entirely.

Right now it is not possible to merge 2 accounts, however you can add alias email address or cell phone number which is an additional email address for your Microsoft account. Because alias uses the same inbox, contact
list, and account settings as the primary alias that means you can sign in to your Microsoft account since they all use the same password. The link below has detailed steps on how to link your accounts.

Hi Rauten! Unfortunately you cannot merge two Microsoft Accounts. You can link multiple accounts together, but that will not merge licenses for content or anything like that, it will just merge your email.

Thank you for your post. I understand you are looking to combine multiple Microsoft Accounts. Account merging is not available for any Microsoft Account, meaning the accounts you have must remain separate.
