cannot recover gamertag

i recently traded in my old console for a new one and am trying to recover my gamertag Mr Spliff. i noticed that you cannot type in the gamertag to recover it anymore and have to enter an email adress. but i've forgotten the email. is there any way i can
recover my gamertag without knowing the email, or a way to find out what the email adress is?

recovering live account when all i remember is my gamertag.

Is there any way to recover a live account when you cant remember the email address used? I know the recover gamertag option is there but without knowing my address used I cant reactivate it.

Youd need to somehow figure out what email you used. There isnt any way to get an account back without at least knowing the email associated with the account.

My old Xbox One has finally died and won’t turn on at all. I had an account on there with a lot of achievements, hours and money put into it. Now I have bought a new Xbox console and want to get my account back.

I remember my gamertag and even my password but I can’t for the life of me remember what email I used for it.

No there is not a way to recover an account without knowing the email.

You can still get emails about an account and the email not be the Microsoft account email. Ms makes customers usually have their sign in email and a different email for back up. The only way with out remembering or see the email on your old xbox would be
to call in support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX. They can look up your gamertag to try to find the information.
