Looking to buy a Headset for my Xbox 360

I've been playing xbox without a headset for about 6 or 7 years now and I need help on deciding which one is a good one. I don't need anything fancy and I definitely don't want to spend like 150 bucks for one either. I play all different types of games,
and I'm not really an avid gamer, really only when i have free time. Anything good and cheap (under 75 dollars) would be great. Thanks.

Xbox One & Xbox 360 Headset

Afternoon Guys and Gals,

Hopefully this post is in the right place, what it is Im after new headsets for my xbox 360 looking at a set of Tritton Wireless Headsets. But come early 2014 the xbox one will be arriving so Im wondering if I buy a this Headset will it work with xbox one.
I am aware that I will need an adapter for the mic to work witch wont be available till 2014. So if any one had any idea if these tritton wireless headset would work on the Xbox one & 360 please let me know.

Well you are in luck and here is a decent stereo headset for even cheaper. How does $50 sound for a headset that used to cost $150?

Sennheiser is one of the best names in the business and as long as you aren't worried about surround sound which you can't really get in your price range to begin with, you will be very satisfied.

During my 360 days, I would have this issue as well. What I would do was buy a new headset and it would work.

If you are having this issue with an Xbox 360 headset, you could try the headset with a different controller or buy a new headset altogether. On the Xbox One family of consoles, you have the ability to turn the mic on in the settings and adjust the "mic
monitoring". To do this, you press the Home button (the big X you hold to turn the controller on/off) and go all the way right to where it says "System" and go down to "audio"and check that the "headset mic" is selected and on and the monitoring is at a point
where it will pick up audio clearly.

If this does not work, I would suggest you look into a new headset.
