Looking into buying the XBox 1 slim, Any problem in talking to friends on the X box one

Hi All sorry if this is in the wrong section (no doubt Admin will move if it is),

As per the title I'm Looking into buying my son a 1TB, XB1Slim for Christmas as most of his friends moved over to the bigger XB one from the 360 last year.

Now he saying that the XB1Slim cannot talk/communicate via headset to the Xbox one while in game play mode is this correct? or is he just trying to scam dad into new games or is there a genuine problem in communication with the Xbox one and the Xbox one'S
any help greatly received

Weird 360 slim hdmi problem

Hello all,

Having a very strange issue with my 360 slim.

I have recently added a 4 x 2 hdmi matrix box which successfully receives output from a 360e and an xbox one and outputs it to both monitors (1 x Samsung, 1 x Iiyama)

If I plug the hdmi cable from the slim straight into both monitors I can get a picture from my older monitor (Samsung) which until recently was the one I always had the slim plugged into. The newer Iiyama displays nothing though something is getting through
as the monitor wakes up.

If I plug the hdmi cable from the slim into the hdmi matrix it refuses to display anything on either monitor.

I have tried clearing the cache on the slim which hasn't helped.

Any ideas? Is this possibly first symptoms of a wider problem developing with the slim?

Xbox One bumper issue

I have three X Box One controllers and have yet to have a problem; one has over 3,000 hours on it. You could try talking to support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX.

Except for the size of the Slim and the fact that it has 4k capabilities, it is essentially the same thing as the One. So everything else will work exactly the same way. You won't have any problems communicating between the 2.

You sure about this SMwutches? When I was talking to some of the other people who did this, they said that the disc was still required for the process. Also, the X-box that I have isn't an X-box 360 slim, its just a regular white Xbox 360. But I'll still
take a look at the link to that walkthrough that you posted up.

I talked to the support and wie tryed to factory reset the x box but its not worked the same Problem whit my x box one x so now the series x and my one x not working anymore

I tried all of those steps beforehand. Still doesn't solve this problem.

I own the X-Box 360 Slim for 6 years without any problems until this happened few days ago.
