Looking For People: Raid - Thursday Oct 2nd

Sorry dude, not enough guys were online last night, we're trying to set up a time so everyone is on the same page.

 

Its alright, I understand.

 

Well last night was pretty much a success. After about 3.5 hours we didn't beat it, or at least I didn't. Not sure if they beat it after I left. After an hour and a half of trying to defeat the boss I had to call it quits for now.

I'd like to continue and finish the raid at some point before Tuesday (that's when progress gets wiped).

Shout out to Disco for knowing what to do. We had well over 6 people trade in and out, and back in. Most people were level 27, with a few 26's and a couple 25's. I'm barely a 28 and I'd recommend getting to 27 at least before you try, its pretty brutal.
But for all the confusion that is the Vault of Glass we had some really good teamwork.

After Tuesday if people still want to do the raid, I'll be throwing out invites. It's just hard to have 6 people all on, playing Destiny, with enough time, and willing to do VoG. I doubt we will be beating it in one day, so there will probably be chunks
of the raid through out the week. I've still got room on my friends list..

 

I have done a raid by myself one time, and I had a really good player join, and he told me it is really hard. I didn't really feel like it was hard, but then again, I didn't know what to do.

if you need people to join in a raid, I am down for that, becaue when I went in, I was scared and hiding and killing like assassins creed the whole time

 

A raid by yourself? Zone are you thinking of a strike? The only raid in Destiny atm is the Vault of Glass and it is literally impossible to do it by yourself. You need 3+ people just to get in.

 

it said raid when I went to it. I didn't beat it or anything, I just went to see what was so hard about it. i didn't get far, but i want to see how far i can get with anyone here if they want to join

 

I've done the raid and I know how to do the last boss, I'm a lvl 28 warlock but no mic

 

I can solo guard a plate at the front door anyone doing the vault should invite me

It is for a bit, but not for the last boss. But if you have people I'll play with you

 

im pretty good at keeping people alive, but i don't have a dependable team where i can go online and have for sure back up by a certain person or anything like that.

I successfully beat the raid twice now. Once late Sunday night and again on Tuesday. I still haven't received any armor, which is the only way I can reach level 30. I upgraded my armor and I'm now level 29.

I'd like to get a group of other level 29's/30's and make an attempt at the raid on hard. I really prefer people with mics, but if you know what you're doing and don't have one, that's fine.

I'd also be willing to help other beat the raid, but seeing as I won't get a reward again until Tuesday, I may or may not stick around the entire time.

Either way every week I'll be getting a group together and finishing the raid (it'll probably be every Tuesday). And if I can get a enough 29+ Guardians finishing it twice every week will increase the chance for good rewards. So if you got a group and need
one more, or need a group, let me know.

(FYI I'm Eastern Time guys, so when I get invites at 11pm+ I probably won't join. Raids take around 2 hours. I've got no desire to stay up past midnight.)
