    Looking for Information on alpha skip ahead 2208 base OS


    I’ve recently seen a post by Brad Rossetti on Twitter about how 2208 is the new “base OS” coming later this year.

    I’ve also seen some referencing “nickel semester” I was under the impression that Microsoft was ending nickel semester and entering the “copper semester”

    At the end of the day it’s not a big deal, I’m just impatient and would like to see a more robust OS with more advanced features such as “snap” or multitasking as well as the revised capture system that has been in the works

    Fill out a detailed report, giving make and model of headset you use and send it to the development team.

    I am in Alpha Skip ahead and sometimes get these issues. You could try backing out of the Insider program, to a public build and seeing if things work.

    Remember Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead are the cutting edge OS builds and can be full of bugs.

    wanting to join alpha program on insiders would like to be invited

    You don't first there is the alpha which you can join for alphas

    And there is the skip ahead keep in mind it's also the most buggy since it is the first relEASE

    And you have to get an invite for skip ahead the only way to get into that is by doing a lot of feedback on the other rings and you will get sn invite eventually even they have room and based on your feedback
